Mr. Woodcock: 24 Out Of 100 Stars

Excellent idea, terrible script. There are a lot of great setups for jokes that just get misused, which is the worst thing a "comedy" can do. Thornton is excellent playing what has become a standard character for him but he just repeats the same joke over and over. Other than that there really isn't much to the movie. Dude Wheres My Car guy, god love him, really seems to be trying but he's given such an idiotic character to play that there's not much he can do with his manicness. Ethan Suplee is given nothing to work with either as he's essentially playing a dumbed down version of his Earl character, yeah. Such a shame that more time wasn't devoted to this premise as the potential for a very good comedy is here, but the actual script seems like it was churned out in about 15 minutes.
