Chloe: 41 Out Of 100 Stars

Most of this rating comes from the fact that I find Julliane Moore hot as fuck, and I enjoy watching her in erotic situations. As for the rest of this movie? Bleh.

The story revolves around Moore and Liam Neeson, a couple for whom the spark has fizzled. He misses a flight one night and gets an email the next day from a student that leads Moore to wonder if he's having an affair. When Moore runs into a high class hooker who does a lot of work at the hotel next to her medical practice, the story begins to unfold.

The plot never really goes anywhere you don't expect it to go, and honestly just about any other woman in the Moore role would have made this a total clunker for me, but as I said, I love her, so watching her in these situations was pretty hot.

Neeson is barely in the movie, and when he has actual dialogue it's pretty bad. There is a son who appears to have been picked up from 10th grade drama class and driven to the set each day, he's just horrible and it's a subplot that's both heavy handed and annoying.

Amanda Seyfried plays the hooker and I guess she's ok, though she doesn't turn me on much except for when we see her naked. The character itself is rather transparent and the script insists on her using phrases like "held him in my hand" and "when he entered me" which is just intelligence insulting, but whatever.

So yeah, the movie goes exactly as you're expecting until a bizarre final scene that takes the film into cliche territory and is just sort of silly.

This is one of those films that thinks it's ten times better than it is, when really it's just sort of silly.

Even Julliane Moores big pink nipples aren't enough for recommend this, unless of course that's enough for you anyway.
