Looking back on 2008, there's a good mix of high end "Oscar" type movies, and really funny comedies. Throw in a good amount of upper echelon horror stuff and you have a real good year for cinema, for me at least.
In the end though, two movies stood heads and tails above the rest. The Wrestler and Hamlet 2, two film who couldn't be wider apart in what they're trying to do, but both so insanely awesome. Widdling down the bottom half of the top 10 was hard as hell, and a straight to DVD horror film even made the list as I just couldn't ignore how damn good Sleepaway Camp was. On to the rankings.
