A bit spooky at times yes, but other than that it felt fairly trite and lacked any of the awesomeness that most of the people I've seen talk about it have described. I wasn't moved by the concept and the ending was a major letdown for me.
I'm not sure how I would have felt if I wasn't expecting a really good movie going in but the more I watched and waited for it to "get good" the more I was disappointed.
Much like The Hangover for me in that I was anticipating something much more than was delivered, except where The Hangover was a mild disappointment but still very fun movie, this just dragged and dragged until it was mercifully over.
