Vacancy 2: 37 Out Of 100 Stars

Almost identical to the original, not in script, but in how I viewed it. A slasher movie that moves along at doing what slasher movies do but with not alot to make you enjoy it. It's filled with hitches and twists and this and that but underneath theres not really a lot to it.

You've got your setup, which is ok as we're introduced to how the Motel went from being a peep show setup to a murder on video setup and it's kind of corny but whatever, we'll roll with it. Once the chases begin though it's nothing spectacular despite them trying to put a little twist on things and trying to fool you.

The kills aren't all that great, it's not real sexy, and the suddenness of the kills leaves little time to be shocked or upset by characters dying. The female lead isn't all that likeable which is a pretty big misstep since she ends up being the focus of the movie.

Just an underwhelming stock rehashing, no need to spend any time at this Motel.
